Ohio High School Basketball - Highland overwhelms Buckeye
January 28, 2025: Medina, OH 44256 The Highland Hornets basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Buckeye Bucks to 45 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now possess a 13-2 record. They play next when they host Aurora for a Suburban - American game on Friday, January 31. Highland will confront a Greenmen team coming off a 61-56 non-league loss to Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Greenmen record now stands at 6-10.
With the loss, Buckeye falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Bucks host North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Cleveland West game on Friday, January 31. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 4-12. North Olmsted lost 65-53 in their recent non-league game against Keystone (La Grange, OH)
