The Metro-East Lutheran Knights basketball squad (Edwardsville, IL), was nudged 46-42 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Collinsville Kahoks (Collinsville, IL)

With the victory, Collinsville advances its record to 12-11 on the year. The Kahoks travel to Belleville West (Belleville, IL) to meet the Maroons in a Southwestern battle on Friday, January 31. The Maroons enter the battle with a record of 10-11. Belleville West lost 58-43 in their recent league battle against Belleville East (Belleville, IL)

The Knights now own a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host SIUE East St. Louis Charter for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 29. Metro-East Lutheran will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 66-56 non-league win over First Baptist Academy (O'Fallon, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 6-9.
