Louisiana High School Basketball - Riverside Academy sneaks past Crescent City Christian
January 28, 2025: Reserve, LA 70084 The Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) basketball edged the visiting Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA), 60-58 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Springfield for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. Riverside Academy will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-53 league loss to Amite (Amite, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-9.
With the loss, Crescent City Christian falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Pioneers host St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA) to play the Saints in a 1A District 10 bout on Friday, January 31. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 10-6. St. Martin's Episcopal won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against International (New Orleans, LA)
