January 28, 2025: Mineral Point, WI 53565 Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Dodgeville Dodgers (Dodgeville, WI), 60-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mineral Point advances its record to 15-1 on the year. The Pointers host Darlington (Darlington, WI) to meet the Redbirds in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities match on Friday, January 31. The Redbirds enter the match with a record of 13-4. Darlington lost 71-52 in their recent non-league match against Monroe (Monroe, WI)
The Dodgers now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie du Chien for a Southwest Wisconsin match on Thursday, January 30. Dodgeville will meet a Blackhawks squad coming off a 61-46 non-league loss to Westby (Westby, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 0-15.
