Virginia High School Basketball - Tuscarora fells Freedom
January 28, 2025: Leesburg, VA 20176 The Tuscarora Huskies basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Freedom Eagles to 45 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Huskies now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Broad Run for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Tuscarora will confront a Spartans team coming off a 46-45 league win over Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Freedom falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Battlefield (Haymarket, VA) to confront the Bobcats in a Cedar Run game on Friday, January 31. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 10-9. Battlefield lost 74-60 in their recent league game against Patriot (Nokesville, VA)
