Ohio High School Basketball - West Liberty-Salem holds off Greenon
January 28, 2025: Springfield, OH 45502 The West Liberty-Salem Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Greenon Knights to 47 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now possess a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Triad for a Ohio Heritage game on Friday, January 31. West Liberty-Salem will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 39-29 non-league loss to Elgin (Marion, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-13.
With the loss, Greenon falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Knights host Cedarville (Cedarville, OH) to confront the Indians in a Ohio Heritage game on Friday, January 31. The Indians go into the game with a record of 10-7. Cedarville won 46-29 in their recent league game against Triad (North Lewisburg, OH)
