Louisiana High School Basketball - Tioga overwhelms Jena
January 28, 2025: Tioga, LA 71405 The Tioga Indians basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Jena Giants to 45 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now have a 21-10 record. They play next when they host Franklin Parish for a 4A District 2 game on Tuesday, January 28. Tioga will confront a Patriots team coming off a 83-39 league loss to Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 15-12.
With the loss, Jena falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Marksville (Marksville, LA) to confront the Tigers in a 3A District 2 game on Friday, February 14. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 20-6.
