New York High School Basketball - Lewiston-Porter triumphant over Niagara-Wheatfield
January 28, 2025: Youngstown, NY 14174 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY) and the visiting Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons (Sanborn, NY), observed Lewiston-Porter's basketball team overwhelm Niagara-Wheatfield by a margin of 58-37.
The Lancers (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Buffalo Academy of Science (Buffalo, NY). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Buffalo Academy of Science trounced Global Concepts (Lackawanna, NY), 62-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) in a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge, on Friday, February 7. Niagara-Wheatfield will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
