The Thunderbirds (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Delphos, OH). The Wildcats come into the Northwest challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson trounced Ayersville (Defiance, OH), 61-35, in a non-league challenge.

Perry will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Fighting Hornets come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 49-39 non-league loss to Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH).
