January 28, 2025: Woonsocket, RI 02895 The Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI) basketball were winner over the visiting Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI), 61-47 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Villa Novans now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Raphael Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 30. Woonsocket will play a Saints team coming off a 62-27 non-league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Saints record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Lincoln falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Coventry (Coventry, RI) to play the Oakers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Oakers go into the bout with a record of 6-1.
