California High School Basketball - Acalanes triumphant over Mt. Diablo
January 28, 2025: Lafayette, CA 94549 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) and the visiting Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA), observed Acalanes's basketball team overwhelm Mt. Diablo by a score of 66-39.
The Dons (20-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA). The Ugly Eagles come into the Diablo challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Clayton Valley Charter trounced Campolindo (Moraga, CA), 55-47, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Devils encounter the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) in a Diablo challenge, on Friday, January 31. Mt. Diablo will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 36-20 league win over College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA).
