Ohio High School Basketball - Pettisville can't hold off Antwerp
January 28, 2025: Antwerp, OH 45813 Antwerp Archers (Antwerp, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH), 42-35 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Antwerp upgrades its record to 6-12 on the year. The Archers travel to Wayne Trace (Haviland, OH) to face the Raiders in a Green Meadows match on Thursday, January 30. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 13-4. Wayne Trace won 39-19 in their recent league match against Tinora (Defiance, OH)
The Blackbirds now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montpelier for a Buckeye Border match on Thursday, January 30. Pettisville will face a Locomotives squad coming off a 58-50 non-league loss to Tinora (Defiance, OH). The Locomotives record now stands at 12-5.
