Rhode Island High School Basketball - Blackstone Valley Prep overwhelms Woonsocket
January 28, 2025: Cumberland, RI The Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Woonsocket Villa Novans to 19 in the PRIDE non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The PRIDE now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Davies Career & Tech for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. Blackstone Valley Prep will confront a Patriots team coming off a 36-22 league loss to Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Woonsocket falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Villa novans travel to Lincoln School (Providence, RI) to confront the Lynx in a Division III game on Thursday, January 30. The Lynx go into the game with a record of 11-1. Lincoln School lost 46-45 in their recent league game against Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI)
