January 28, 2025: Baker, LA 70714 Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA), 61-28 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Central Private advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 15-9. Catholic of Pointe Coupee won 60-59 in their recent league match against North Central (Lebeau, LA)
The Wolves now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Family Christian for a C District 7 match on Friday, January 31. Maurepas will face a Flames squad coming off a 40-38 non-league win over Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Flames record now stands at 15-6.
