The Seymour Owls (Seymour, IN) basketball edged the host Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN), 43-37 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Owls now possess a 9-13 record. They play next when they host New Albany for a Hoosier Hills bout on Thursday, January 30. Seymour will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-43 non-league win over Evansville North (Evansville, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-16.
