The University Trailblazers basketball squad (Carmel, IN), was outscored 51-37 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN)

With the victory, Decatur Central advances its record to 7-13 on the year. The Hawks host Plainfield (Plainfield, IN) to meet the Quakers in a Mid-State battle on Friday, January 31. The Quakers enter the battle with a record of 16-5. Plainfield won 72-31 in their recent league battle against Mooresville (Mooresville, IN)

The Trailblazers now own a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Speedway for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. University will meet a Sparkplugs squad coming off a 53-14 league win over Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN). The Sparkplugs record now stands at 8-11.
