Rhode Island High School Basketball - Exeter-West Greenwich nips Lincoln School

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights basketball team scored a close 46-45 win over the Lincoln School Lynx.

The Scarlet Knights (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hope (Providence, RI). The Blue Wave come into the Division III challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Hope was tipped by Pilgrim (Warwick, RI), 50-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lynx encounter the Woonsocket Villa Novans (Woonsocket, RI) in a Division III challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Lincoln School will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record. The Villa Novans come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 41-19 non-league loss to Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI).
