With the victory, St. Johns advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Redwings host Williamston (Williamston, MI) to meet the Hornets in a Capital Area - Red battle on Thursday, January 30. The Hornets enter the battle with a record of 9-4. Williamston won 35-32 in their recent league battle against Mason (Mason, MI)
The Mounties now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western for a Interstate 8 battle on Friday, January 31. Northwest will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 57-28 non-league win over Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 12-1.
