January 28, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28212 East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 40-13 in a non-league match.
With the victory, East Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Eagles host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 2-4.
The Trojans now sport a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ballantyne Ridge for a non-league match on Friday, January 31. Olympic will face a Wolves squad coming off a 19-18 non-league loss to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 0-10.
