January 28, 2025: St. George, VA 22935 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) and the visiting Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), observed Blue Ridge's basketball team knock off Virginia Episcopal School by a score of 50-40.
The Barons (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Anne's-Belfield prevailed over Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA), 69-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bishops encounter the Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Virginia Episcopal School will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record.
