Illinois High School Basketball - St. Francis toppled by Brother Rice
January 28, 2025: Chicago, IL 60655 Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL), 48-30 in a league match.
With the victory, Brother Rice advances its record to 21-1 on the year. The Crusaders host Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to face the Friars in a match on Friday, January 31. The Friars enter the match with a record of 5-4. Fenwick won 57-49 in their recent non-league match against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL)
The Spartans now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Laurence for a match on Friday, February 14.
