January 28, 2025: Florissant, MO 63031 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hazelwood Central Hawks (Florissant, MO) and the visiting Charleston Bluejays (Charleston, MO), observed Hazelwood Central's basketball team knock off Charleston by a score of 53-43.
The Hawks (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against McCluer North (Florissant, MO). The Stars go into the non-league bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, McCluer North fell by Eureka (Eureka, MO), 45-28, in a non-league bout.
With the loss, Charleston falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Woodland (Marble Hill, MO) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, February 14. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 8-3.
