Florida High School Basketball - Geneva thwarts Cornerstone Charter Academy
January 28, 2025: Casselberry, FL 32707 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Geneva Knights (Casselberry, FL) and the visiting Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks (Belle Isle, FL), observed Geneva's basketball team knock off Cornerstone Charter Academy by a score of 43-25.
The Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lyman (Longwood, FL). The Greyhounds come into the non-league challenge with a 12-11 record. In their last challenge, Lyman was knocked off by Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL), 74-51, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Ducks encounter the Orlando Science Orcas (Orlando, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Cornerstone Charter Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Orcas come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 64-30 non-league loss to Geneva (Casselberry, FL).
