The Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) basketball crushed the host Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), 91-61 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bluebirds (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Bellevue (Bellevue, KY). The Tigers go into the District 36 test with a 2-16 record.

The Rebels now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Holmes for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 1. Boone County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 89-64 league loss to Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-14.
