Washington High School Basketball - Connell knocked off by La Salle
January 29, 2022: Union Gap, WA 98903 The La Salle Lightning basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Connell Eagles to 48 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lightning now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Toppenish for a 1A South Central - West contest on Tuesday, February 1. La Salle will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 71-33 non-league win over College Place (College Place, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-2.
The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Royal (Royal City, WA). The Knights enter the 1A South Central - East contest with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Royal knocked off Wapato (Wapato, WA), 72-65, in a non-league match.
