January 29, 2022: Akron, OH 44319 The Coventry Comets (Akron, OH) basketball felled the visiting Perry Panthers (Massillon, OH), 63-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Comets (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Northwest thwarted Fairless (Navarre, OH), 55-35, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson for a Federal test on Tuesday, February 1. Perry will encounter a Polar Bears squad coming off a 49-42 league win over GlenOak (Canton, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 9-6.
