The Peabody Warhorses basketball team (Alexandria, LA), was toppled 61-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Liberty Magnet Patriots (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Patriots now possess a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Zachary for a non-league battle on Monday, January 31. Liberty Magnet will confront a Broncos team coming off a 75-54 non-league win over Landry-Walker (New Orleans, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 23-3.

The Warhorses (20-5) will now prepare for their battle against Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Wampus Cats come into the 4A District 3 battle with a 5-13 record.
