Ohio High School Basketball - Wauseon nudges Springfield
January 29, 2022: Wauseon, OH 43567 Wauseon Indians (Wauseon, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH), 48-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wauseon upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Indians travel to Bryan (Bryan, OH) to clash with the Golden Bears in a Northwest Ohio bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Bryan lost 44-37 in their recent non-league bout against Bath (Lima, OH)
Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to Defiance (Defiance, OH).
