January 29, 2022: Warner, SD 57479 The Sully Buttes Chargers basketball team (Onida, SD), was nudged 52-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD)
The Monarchs now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faulkton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 1. Warner will battle a Trojans team coming off a 51-42 non-league win over Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 11-3.
The Chargers (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Coyotes come into the non-league battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Jones County was nudged by Gregory (Gregory, SD), 69-38, in a non-league battle.
