Ohio High School Basketball - Triway nips Waynedale
January 29, 2022: Wooster, OH 44691 Triway Titans (Wooster, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH), 64-63 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Triway upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Fairless (Navarre, OH) to play the Falcons in a Principals bout on Friday, February 4. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 7-12. Fairless lost 55-35 in their recent league bout against Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH)
Next up, the Golden Bears play the Dalton Bulldogs (Dalton, OH) in a Wayne County bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Waynedale will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 66-50 league win over Rittman (Rittman, OH).
