New Mexico High School Basketball - Belen knocked off by Los Alamos
January 29, 2022: Los Alamos, NM 87544 The Los Alamos Hilltoppers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Belen Eagles to 39 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a non-league contest on Monday, January 31. Los Alamos will battle a Hornets team coming off a 69-62 league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 4-6.
The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates enter the contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Grants was defeated by Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 69-62, in a league contest.
