Wisconsin High School Basketball - Wilmot nips Johnsburg
January 29, 2022: Wilmot, WI 53192 Wilmot Panthers (Wilmot, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL), 68-64 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wilmot upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Panthers host Burlington (Burlington, WI) to play the Demons in a Southern Lakes bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Demons go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Burlington won 50-48 in their recent league bout against Badger (Lake Geneva, WI)
Next up, the Skyhawks play the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Johnsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 1-17 record after their 46-16 league loss to Marengo (Marengo, IL).
