Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Michael-Albertville tops Prior Lake
January 29, 2022: Albertville, MN 55376 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN) and the visiting Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN), saw St. Michael-Albertville's basketball squad knock off Prior Lake by a count of 75-58.
With the victory, St. Michael-Albertville upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Moorhead (Moorhead, MN) to play the Spuds in a AAAA Section 8 challenge on Saturday, February 5. The Spuds come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Moorhead lost 71-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Fergus Falls (Fergus Falls, MN)
Next up, the Lakers play the Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 31. Prior Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 72-30 league loss to Rosemount (Rosemount, MN).
