Ohio High School Basketball - West Holmes can't hold off Buckeye
January 29, 2023: Millersburg, OH 44654 The Buckeye Bucks basketball team scored 59 points and held the host West Holmes Knights to 53 in the Bucks non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Bucks now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avon Lake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Buckeye will battle a Shoremen team coming off a 67-64 league win over Midview (Grafton, OH). The Shoremen record now stands at 14-2.
The Knights (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, OH). The Arrows enter the Ohio Cardinal contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Ashland was nudged by Wooster (Wooster, OH), 66-65, in a league contest.
