Kentucky High School Basketball - Calvary Christian nips Cincinnati Landmark
January 29, 2024: Covington, KY 41015 Calvary Christian Cougars (Covington, KY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cincinnati Landmark Eagles (Cincinnati, OH), 39-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 8-17 on the season. The Cougars travel to Augusta (Augusta, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Augusta lost 97-84 in their recent non-league bout against Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY)
Next up, the Eagles play the Mars Hill Academy (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Cincinnati Landmark will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 36-30 league win over East Dayton Christian (Dayton, OH).
