Alabama High School Basketball - Geraldine holds off Section
January 29, 2024: Section, AL 35771 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL) and the host Section Lions (Section, AL), saw Geraldine's basketball squad hold off Section by a tally of 64-63.
With the victory, Geraldine improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sardis (Boaz, AL) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 25-2. Sardis won 78-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Sylvania (Sylvania, AL)
Next up, the Lions confront the Valley Head Tigers (Valley Head, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Section will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-18 record after their 75-30 non-league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, AL).
