In Monday's non-league outing, the Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 52-50.

The Knights (1-13) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers go into the 1A/2A Yadkin Valley outing with a 8-9 record. In their last outing, Mount Pleasant held off Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 71-67, in a league outing.
