January 29, 2024: Washington, DC 20002 The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles basketball team (Washington, DC), was toppled 68-56 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD)
The Raiders (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, St. Charles defeated Lackey (Indian Head, MD), 54-45, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to St. Anselm's Abbey for a Potomac Valley outing on Tuesday, January 30. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 60-25 non-league loss to McKinley Tech (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-14.
