With the victory, Rocky Mount Academy improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC) to confront the Vikings in a NCISAA Carolina Independent challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-16. Halifax Academy lost 75-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Liberty Christian Patriots (Durham, NC) in a NCCSA AA East Region 3 challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Wilson Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 65-44 non-league loss to Alamance Christian (Graham, NC).
