Nevada High School Basketball - Silverado fells Spring Valley

Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV), 72-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Silverado upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Skyhawks travel to Durango (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Trailblazers in a 5A Southern bout on Friday, February 2. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 4-18. Durango lost 61-37 in their recent league bout against Foothill (Henderson, NV)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Centennial Bulldogs (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern bout, on Thursday, February 1. Spring Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 78-73 league loss to Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV).
