Louisiana High School Basketball - Benjamin Franklin nips Abramson
January 29, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70122 Benjamin Franklin Falcons (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA), 38-34 in a league bout.
With the win, Benjamin Franklin upgrades its record to 10-16 on the season. The Falcons travel to McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA) to play the Roneagles in a 4A District 11 bout on Thursday, February 1. The Roneagles go into the bout with a record of 11-15. McDonogh 35 lost 42-39 in their recent league bout against Cabrini (New Orleans, LA)
Next up, the Commodores play the Carver Collegiate Academy Rams (New Orleans, LA) in a 4A District 11 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Abramson will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 11-14 record after their 35-32 league win over Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA).
