Delaware High School Basketball - Archmere Academy overwhelms Middletown
January 29, 2024: Claymont, DE 19703 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Archmere Academy Auks (Claymont, DE) and the visiting Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE), saw Archmere Academy's basketball squad wallop Middletown by a count of 57-29.
With the victory, Archmere Academy upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Auks travel to St. Elizabeth (Wilmington, DE) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. St. Elizabeth lost 56-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Caravel (Bear, DE)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE) in a Blue Hen Flight - A challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Middletown will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Green Knights come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 47-45 league loss to Concord (Wilmington, DE).
