Hill-McCloy Rams (Montrose, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Atherton Wolverines (Burton, MI), 71-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hill-McCloy upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Rams travel to Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy (Saginaw, MI) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy lost 33-23 in their recent non-league bout against North Huron (Kinde, MI)

Next up, the Wolverines play the International Academy Phoenix (Flint, MI) in a Genesee Area - Red bout, on Friday, February 2. Atherton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Phoenix go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 61-10 non-league loss to Durand (Durand, MI).
