Michigan High School Basketball - Bad Axe nudges Deckerville
January 29, 2024: Bad Axe, MI 48413 Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Deckerville Eagles (Deckerville, MI), 30-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bad Axe upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Hatchets host Lakeville (Otisville, MI) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Lakeville won 36-32 in their recent league bout against Chesaning (Chesaning, MI)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Mayville Wildcats (Mayville, MI) in a North Central Thumb - Stars bout, on Thursday, February 1. Deckerville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 45-21 non-league loss to Brown City (Brown City, MI).
