California High School Basketball - Castle Park holds off Guajome Park Academy
January 29, 2024: Vista, CA 92084 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA) and the host Guajome Park Academy Frogs (Vista, CA), saw Castle Park's basketball squad hold off Guajome Park Academy by a tally of 1-0.
With the victory, Castle Park improves its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Trojans host Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA) to confront the Mariners in a Freelance challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Mariners come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Mar Vista lost 61-26 in their recent league challenge against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA)
Next up, the Frogs confront the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks (Escondido, CA) in a Ocean challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Guajome Park Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 51-43 non-league loss to Hawaiian Mission Academy (Honolulu, HI).
