Iowa High School Basketball - Cherokee Washington overwhelms Sioux City North

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Cherokee Washington Braves (Cherokee, IA) and the visiting Sioux City North Stars (Sioux City, IA), saw Cherokee Washington's basketball squad wallop Sioux City North by a tally of 65-35.

With the victory, Cherokee Washington improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Braves host MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA) to confront the Dutchmen in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Dutchmen come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. MOC-Floyd Valley lost 63-56 in their recent league challenge against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA)

Next up, the Stars confront the Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA) in a Missouri River challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Sioux City North will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 71-49 league win over Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA).
