Ohio High School Basketball - Oberlin fells Christian Community
January 29, 2024: North Eaton, OH 44044 Oberlin The Phoenix (Oberlin, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Christian Community Warriors (North Eaton, OH), 46-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oberlin upgrades its record to 2-14 on the season. The The Phoenix travel to Brookside (Sheffield, OH) to play the Cardinals in a Lorain County 8 bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Brookside lost 59-16 in their recent league bout against Columbia (Columbia Station, OH)
Next up, the Warriors play the Open Door Christian Patriots (Elyria, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Christian Community will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 48-40 non-league win over Cleveland Central Catholic (Cleveland, OH).
