Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette crushes East Buchanan
January 29, 2024: St. Joseph, MO 64505 Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Buchanan Bulldogs (Gower, MO), 64-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lafayette upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Cameron (Cameron, MO) to play the Dragons in a Midland Empire bout on Friday, February 2. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Cameron won 40-30 in their recent non-league bout against Richmond (Richmond, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Maryville Spoofhounds (Maryville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. East Buchanan will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Spoofhounds go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 55-52 non-league loss to Pembroke Hill (Kansas City, MO).
