Wisconsin High School Basketball - Eleva-Strum crushes Lake Holcombe
January 29, 2024: Holcombe, WI 54745 Eleva-Strum Cardinals (Strum, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lake Holcombe Chieftains (Holcombe, WI), 67-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Eleva-Strum upgrades its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Whitehall (Whitehall, WI) to play the Norse in a Dairyland - Large bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Norse come into the bout with a record of 11-7. Whitehall lost 69-37 in their recent non-league bout against Cochrane-Fountain City (Fountain City, WI)
Next up, the Chieftains play the Clayton Bears (Clayton, WI) in a Lakeland - East bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Lake Holcombe will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 53-39 non-league loss to Pepin/Alma (Pepin, WI).
