Minnesota High School Basketball - Hills-Beaver Creek holds off George-Little Rock
January 29, 2024: Hills, MN 56138 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN) and the visiting George-Little Rock Mustangs (George, IA), saw Hills-Beaver Creek's basketball squad hold off George-Little Rock by a tally of 52-49.
With the victory, Hills-Beaver Creek improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Adrian/Ellsworth (Adrian, MN) to confront the Dragons in a A Section 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Adrian/Ellsworth won 58-42 in their recent league challenge against Murray County Central (Slayton, MN)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Rock Valley Rockets (Rock Valley, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Thursday, February 1. George-Little Rock will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 52-45 league win over Okoboji (Milford, IA).
